The Greeley Blues Jam Committee announced today the line up for the the popular festival on June 11th and 12th, 2010.
It’s another year of multiple headliners with some of the best blues performers in the world playing at the Island Grove Arena
on Saturday, June 12th.
For over 30 years, Kim Wilson and the Fabulous Thunderbirds distinctive and diverse sound has manifested itself into a powerful style that transcends both the blues world and rock and roll with such well known classics as “Tuff Enuff” and “Wrap it Up”.
Louisiana slide guitarist Sonny Landreth was nominated for 3 awards in 2009 from the national Blues Music Awards and dazzles audiences with his distinctive sound.
Shemekia Copeland is well on her way to staking her claim as Queen of the Blues and is nominated as best contemporary Blues Female artist this year.
Too Slim and the Taildraggers is a Seattle band with an eclectic mix of blues, rock and Americana appealing to audiences of various musical tastes.
Friday, June 11th, the blues comes to Downtown Greeley--with performances starting in the afternoon, continuing with Friday Fest on the 9th Street Plaza and live blues bands in many restaurants and bars until midnight.

Tickets are now on sale at the Union Colony Civic Center Box Office in person, by phone (970) 356-5000 or online at UCStars.com. Individual tickets are $20 if purchased before 3/31/09, $25 through 6/12 and $30 at the gate. Kids 12 and under are admitted free when accompanied by an adult. Limited preferred seating is available at $50. Discounted ticket packets are available in person at the UCCC box office, and include 10 general admission tickets for $150, or 4 preferred seating tickets for $150.
