High Plains Raceway

HPR is the newest road racing motorsports facility in the Rocky Mountain area. Officially opened in March of 2009, the track is 2.5 miles in length, boasts 15 turns and over 300 feet of elevation change in every lap. Its rolling terrain and elevation changes make HPR one of the most exciting race tracks in the country. The story of how HPR came about is as unique as the track itself. It’s the only facility in the country conceived, financed, designed and built by a collection of amateur road racing clubs and their members. Participating clubs are the Rocky Mountain Vintage Racing (RMVR); the Colorado Region of the Sports Car Club of America (SCCA); the Motorcycle Road racing Association (MRA); the Porsche Club of America, Rocky Mtn. Region (PCA-RMR); and the Multi-Car Club Alliance (MCCA). The Multi-Car Club Alliance itself is a collective of eight other car clubs.
