The 27th Annual Keota School & Friends Reunion will be Saturday, August 6, 2011 in the Old Gym at the school in Briggsdale, CO from 10:00am-4:00pm.

The Keota Reunion is held annually on the 1st Saturday in August in the Old Gym in Briggsdale, Colorado. Everyone is welcome. Please bring potluck to share, table settings and beverages for your family. Remember to bring your cameras, pictures and be ready to visit with old friends and make some new ones!!

The Keota School & Friends Reunion was started in 1984 by Alice Hart Johnson, a 1942 Graduate of the Keota School in Keota, Colorado. Originally started as a class type reunion it has become a gathering of family and friends from the Northeastern Colorado (Keota/Briggsdale/Greeley/Ft. Collins/etc) and surrounding areas of Colorado and the rest of the world. Alumni, friends and family attend from coast to coast and sometimes beyond.

This year the Colorado Historical Society will be conducting interviews for the upcoming “Destination Colorado” exhibit focusing on Keota! “Destination Colorado” will be a core exhibit at the new History Colorado Center in Denver, scheduled to open in the Spring of 2012. This looks to be another exciting reunion and we hope to see everyone there!

At Briggsdale turn south off Highway 14 onto 5th Avenue. The Old Gym is located on the NW corner of 5th Avenue and Leslie Street. (Leslie Street is one block south of Main Street.)
