Public West Bijou Site Tour

Here's a chance to see the "jewel" of the prairie, the Plains Conservation Center West Bijou site. We will tour the 9,000 acre site enjoying sweeping vistas, wildflowers and wildlife and visit the reintroduced bison herd. After a stop for lunch, we will hike a short way to explore the world-famous K/T Boundary site, giving evidence to the demise of the dinosaurs. We will meet at the PCC Aurora site at 9 am. and return by 2 pm. Carpooling will be encouraged between the two sites. Please dress for the weather, bring water, sunscreen and lunch. Cameras and binoculars are suggested. Reservations required.
